Dear Supporters,
As a year-round Chai Lifeline volunteer for the past 12 years, I am a firsthand witness to so much of what Chai Lifeline does.
One of their main projects is Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special - where they infuse life into the lives of terminally ill children – many of whom otherwise don't get to enjoy much of summer. In fact, I've had family members who’ve been Camp Simcha campers over the years. I've been to Camp Simcha numerous times and have seen the joy and life these children experience in that special place! Camp is now in full swing!
I first rode with Bike4Chai back in 2012. This summer, I'm again taking part in this special program to help cover the costs of this special camp. Every dollar I raise will help support Chai Lifeline’s flagship medically-supervised summer programs, Camp Simcha, Camp Simcha Special, and Camp Simcha Without Borders as well as other critical programs and services for more than 6,000 families impacted by illness, crisis, and loss. These services include counseling and case management, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, transportation to medical appointments, emergency financial assistance, insurance advocacy, i-Shine afterschool programming, Big Brothers/Sisters, crisis and trauma intervention.
