I wanted to thank you for stopping by my page and I am honored and privileged to be participating in Bike4chai once again.
You may ask why I am doing this again. Unfortunately, I like most of you, have had someone in their family affected by cancer. I know firsthand how much Chai Lifeline helps families who have children who are dealing with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses, as I watched them help my nephew, Yehuda Furman and his family throughout his battle with Ewing Sarcoma. I also had a beloved family member pass away from pancreatic cancer right before my last bike4chai ride.
This year I am dedicating every dollar raised and every mile that I ride in memory of my beloved Aunt Leah who passed away from Cancer and in honor of my nephew Yehuda Furman and his continued health from his history with Ewing Sarcoma. Yehuda is thankfully doing well and is currently enrolled in the Northwestern University MPO NUPOC program. Regarding my Aunt Leah, she was a huge part of my life and I think about her all the time.
As most of you who know me, I am very passionate about helping others, and this is my way of helping the special warriors of Chai Lifeline and Camp Simcha. I am hoping that you can help me in this journey, and I am sure that your efforts will help make this world a better place. These kids and their families deserve it, and it is due to all of your generosity that it will happen.
For two weeks of every summer, these children are granted the chance to forget about their illnesses and experience life simply as children, rather than patients. A summer in Camp Simcha [Special] is an extraordinary opportunity for hundreds of children to restore their fighting spirit and renew their determination to defeat illness and suffering. My objective is to raise $10,000 which is enough to send one camper to Camp Simcha, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Please contribute generously to this important cause by clicking on the donate button now. On behalf of the children of Chai Lifeline, thank you for your support. Yechiel Joseph Levin
