Welcome to My Page
Danny Morris
I hope you and your family are doing well.
This August, I’ll once again be riding in Bike4Chai — a 180-mile journey to support Chai Lifeline, an organization that brings joy and strength to children and families facing serious illness.
Last year, I rode in memory of Aryeh Ziering, David Schwartz, and Yakir Hexter – three courageous young soldiers who gave their lives defending Am Yisrael. Their bravery, love for our people, and sense of duty continue to inspire me with every mile.
This year, I’m dedicating my ride to the memory of two more remarkable people who left a lasting impact:
- Michael “Moish” Kranzler, z”l — a dear friend who lit up every room with kindness, wisdom, and wit.
- Hersh Goldberg-Polin, z”l — whose strength and humanity in the face of darkness inspired the world.
Moish loved to ride. He loved the rhythm, the challenge, the camaraderie. I know he would have cherished the spirit of this journey. And Hersh — his story, and the way his parents Rachel and Jon carried it forward with such dignity and strength, has touched us all. Through my brother-in-law Matt Krieger, who helped lead the family’s communications efforts, I had a closer window into their grace and courage.
As I ride this summer, I carry both of them with me. Two very different lives. Two immense losses. Both reminders of how much we need each other — and how powerful love and community can be.
Every dollar supports Chai Lifeline’s life-changing mission — one I believe in deeply, and one I know both Moish and Hersh would have been proud to stand behind.
Thank you for riding this journey with me.
Am Yisrael Chai.
With gratitude,
Danny
