This summer, I am excited to take part in my twelfth Bike4Chai, an exhilarating 150-mile cycling event benefiting the children and families of Chai Lifeline. My ride is dedicated to Yehoshua, my grandson who arrived prematurely at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in September 2019 at a pound and a half. After spending eleven months in the NICU and Tracheostomy units, he finally came home for his first birthday. Although growing into a mischievous toddler with a charming personality, we look forward to the removal of his breathing and feeding tubes soon. I am also excited to be joined on this journey by my oldest grandson, Shlomo, who will be riding with me. My ride will help support more than two-dozen essential programs for more than 6,000 children and families confronting pediatric illness, crisis, and loss. These services include counseling and case management, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, transportation to medical appointments, emergency financial assistance, insurance advocacy, i-Shine afterschool programming, Big Brothers/Sisters, Project Chai crisis intervention, and Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special, Chai Lifeline’s flagship medically-supervised summer programs.
Life for a child with cancer, disability, or other serious illness is grueling. From the moment of diagnosis, Chai Lifeline’s dedicated staff and volunteers are there to provide joy, hope, and unparalleled care throughout the turbulent medical journey.
My objective is to raise $18,000, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Please contribute generously to this important cause by clicking on the donate button now. On behalf of the children of Chai Lifeline, thank you for your support.

your intended dedication this year, for our grandson, should indeed be a zechus for his complete refuah shelaima. may all the pedalling you and Shlomo do, for this very unbelievable organization, indeed bring us closer to seeing Shua IYH 'catch up'. May Hashem bring refuah and yeshua, and most importantly in the zechus of all the chesed, tefillah and tzedakah around the world, bring us to Yerushalyim Habnuyah bimhaira beyameinu.
