For the last three years I have had the amazing opportunity to ride for bike4chai. An amazing organization that provides so much for families in need. A life changing organization for those with sick family members, providing these families with everything they should need and more. It may have been selfish on my part as a rider, to get caught up in the thrill and excitement of it all. But I truly did not understand the organization that I was riding for, all I wanted to do was ride my bike.

Unfortunately a couple of months ago we were given the most shocking news, my wife had been diagnosed with breast cancer. To say I was shocked is an understatement, my world was turned upside down. I immediately called Rabbi Margolese and within fifteen minutes my wife was assigned to a case manager, where she was given the support and direction she needed. Not only was she given all the support she could possibly need, dinners were sent as well as food for shabbos. Chanakah gifts were sent for my youngest son. And here I thought Chai Lifeline was only for children. No one should ever need them, but we should support them so that they can support the families that do.
Never did I think we would become apart of the Chai Lifeline family through cancer. But when I cross the finish line this year, iy"h my wife will have finished her treatment and be waiting for me at that finish line.
Please have Faiga Rochel bas Leah in your teffilos. And please help me raise my goal of $18,000 this year. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
