Welcome to My Page

Dov Kerner | Riverdale, NY

This summer, I will be biking 180 miles through 3 states to Camp Simcha, an extraordinary overnight camp that gives children with cancer a vacation from sickness. A summer in camp restores their spirits and renews their determination to fight!

The ride won't be easy, but neither is life for a child with cancer or other serious illness. Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special, are Chai Lifeline's flagship programs. Every year these two camps offer 420 children a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. To learn more about the camps, visit campsimcha.org.

I will be biking to camp on Wednesday and Thursday, August 16th & 17th. My objective is to raise at least $18,000 by then and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Please contribute by clicking on the donate button now.

Thank you for supporting me and doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.

Best Regards,
Dov

Honorary Riding Partner

Peri

Age: 16

Peri was born with nemaline rod myopathy, the Eastern European form of muscular dystrophy. She needs both a wheelchair and respirator, but Peri still keeps up with her peers. She’s a dancer, an artist, and an enthusiastic Camp Simcha Special camper. She can’t decide between psychology, law, or children’s advocacy as a career, but she is determined to make the world a better place.
